About Tri-Dosha's Teachers
Sheila Burnham:
Sheila trained and qualified originally as a dance and drama teacher, then after attending dance theatre school joined a professional contemporary dance company. Then followed years of television work and choreography. Sheila has always followed ‘alternative and complementary ‘ health beliefs, and is passionate about the body and its amazing capabilities. Sheila has had the honor of massaging a senior monk at the sacred ‘Tenboche’ monastery as she trekked up to base camp, Everest, and she has absorbed the energy of the mountains in Nepal, and also whilst trekking in Peru. More recently Sheila has traveled around Kerala, Southern India, researching into the time honored philosophy of Ayurveda. Sheila wish’s the best of health to everyone. With this gift, anything in life is possible. And, as a sherpa once said to her: ‘travel down every path, open new gates as you go, you just never know what may be waiting for you around the corner.’
Jessica Adams:
At the age of 8 years old Jessica embarked on a life changing trip backpacking around India for 3 months with her parents. This set the wheel in motion for a truly magical journey. Travelling is in her blood, and it was the 2 years spent in Asia that fed her passion for massage. Having completed a Diploma in Holistic Therapies, Jessica has gone on to qualify in a number of various techniques, but finds her heart is in the Asian treatments. To connect to a person on a soul level makes the whole experience an entire journey. She feels that learning about Ayurveda has unlocked a deep knowing from within, a knowledge that is meant to be shared.
